Job Description:
Provide support to clients, primarily physician practices, to comply with requirements for federal government health information technology programs. This support includes conducting computer security risk analyses, consistent with HIPAA requirements and providing assistance with any necessary corrective action. Other areas of support include assistance with the transition to the new international diagnostic coding system, the ICD-10.
While most services and support will be provided via the phone and remote connection to the client’s computer systems, some travel may be required, both local and nationwide. Overnight travel will be less than 10%.
Qualifications:
Prefer degree in Computer Science and an interest in computer security. Background in healthcare, HIPAA regulations, and/or ICD-10 coding helpful. Can provide training on computer security.
