Eagle Consulting has released a redlined version of the HIPAA Privacy, Security and Breach regulations highlighting the changes introduced by the Omnibus Rule, which was officially published January 25, 2013. The redlined version allows covered entities, business associates and covered entities to quickly see the changes.
This resource is particularly useful for organizations who must update their compliance programs. The redline version will quickly show the changes, which are difficult and time consuming to identify when reading the official rule in the Federal Register.
