HIPAA Audits

Do you wonder if your organization can pass a HIPAA Audit? Eagle can conduct simulated audits of your organization.

Eagle uses a modified version of the Department of Health and Human Service’s Office of Civil Rights (OCR) Audit Protocol based on the rules which are most applicable to your organization. Eagle will conduct the audit on site. During the audit, Eagle will request written materials or other proof of compliance. Some requirements will be satisfied by verbal attestation of management.

The scope of the audit may be limited to specific rules. For example, an audit can be performed measuring compliance with the HIPAA breach notification rule and the HIPAA security rule while not taking into account the HIPAA privacy rule.

This engagement includes a final report. The final report includes prioritized recommendations for improving compliance and outlines any high-risk areas.
