Webinar on June 26 will explain how your organization can install and use these model notices.

HHS Office for Civil Rights and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology invite health care providers and health plan representatives to check out their free Digital Notices of Privacy Practices, available for your organization to customize and use.   A webinar on June 26 will explain how to install and customize these model Notices of Privacy Practices on your website(s). These model notices were created by the winners of the recent Digital Privacy Notice Challenge, sponsored jointly by the two agencies and are being shared, for free, with organizations across the country. The model notices are based on those provided by HHS and the digital versions are available in English and  Spanish for both Providers and Health Plans to customize and use for free.

HIPAA covered entities who are looking to streamline their work flow (and to cut back on the cost of distributing and printing paper notices) by making their Notice of Privacy Practices available online may find this webinar and the model digital notices to be helpful.
