Gary Pritts, Founder and President of Eagle Consulting Partners, is the author and driving force behind these templates. Gary has seen first hand that while many HIPAA policy templates out there, most are designed for physicians or hospitals. His extensive experience with a wide variety of covered entities and business associates led to the creation of these HIPAA Policy templates that address the needs of different types of organizations and their different business processes. His in-depth understanding of the HIPAA rules, understanding of business processes, experience with risk management, and understanding of the various state law interactions, have allowed him to create these policy templates.
Gary’s consulting experience with a wide variety of organizations over the last 15 years — hospitals, physician practices, behavioral health providers, Ohio County Boards of Developmental Disability, public health departments, medical billing services, cloud software providers, managed services providers, group homes for the developmentally disabled — more than 1,000 organizations over the last 15 years — uniquely qualify him to create these policies. He holds an MBA from Harvard, and his combined experience and training have come together to produce a set of unique policy templates for the wide variety of organizations with HIPAA compliance obligations.
